The Clara Apron Pattern is one of my new favorites.  It's a flattering crossover style apron design that ties in the back with a pretty bow.

The retro look is enhanced by coordinating rick rack trim along the hem, bib, and pocket.  Tips for working with rick rack are included in the instructions.
