Creative Kid's Craft Kits at Weekend Kits!

Kids and creativity go hand in hand. Craft kits make it easy for kids to spend their time being creative. You'll find a variety of craft kits for kids to explore at Weekend Kits.

Knit & Crochet

My daughter learned to knit using the Yarn Craft Activity Kit from Alex. It's a great beginner's kit with everything a child needs to get started knitting right away. This kit includes knitting needles, a crochet hook, yarn needle, and instructions - all contained in a convenient wicker style carrying case.

I've included a snapshot of Kelly's first knitting project using this kit - an adorable yellow scarf with orange tassels. She really enjoyed creating this scarf (which she affectionately dedicated to her favorite Webkinz Google) and was very proud of learning this new skill at 9 years of age! It was a rewarding experience for everyone.

There are several knit & crochet kits for kids in the store - make sure to see them all!

Sewing & Embroidery

You'll want to see the Klutz Simple Sewing Kit and the Klutz Simple Embriodery Kit. These kits teach the basics of how to sew and embroider with clear instructions and diagrams that help guide kids through each project. Basic materials and supplies get them started sewing and embroidering their first project right away. Klutz kits are quality kits that will provide lasting value. Learning new skills builds confidence!

Jewelry Making

Kids enjoy making their own jewelry to wear and kits from Alex make it easy and fun to create one of a kind bracelets & matching rings.

Having their friends join in turns this activity into a fun jewelry making party they can all enjoy together!

Cuddly Pom Animals

Cuddly Pom Kits are so easy - all you need is some glue and scissors on hand and your kids can create their favorite pom animals!

You'll find all of these kits and more in the Kid's Craft Kits section of the store. There's scrapbooking, rug hooking, and drawing & painting kits too! Watch your kids enjoy learning & creating something new on their next Weekend at Home.
